Data sheet: personal data
Privacy
In short: we don't track you.
This website uses no cookies, has no forms, doesn't measure visits and shares nothing with social networks or advertisers.
Who we are
TecMedHub is a lab of the School of Medical Technology at Universidad Austral de Chile, Puerto Montt Campus. For any question about this notice, write to us at david.avila@uach.cl.
What we don't do
- We don't use cookies, analytics or tracking tools.
- We don't ask for data: the site has no forms or sign-ups.
- We don't load resources from Google, social networks or advertisers. The fonts, the 3D model and the library that draws it (three.js) are hosted on this same site.
What does happen when you visit
- Server log. Like any website, the server hosting this site may record technical data about each visit (IP address, date, page requested and browser) for operation and security. We don't use it to identify anyone.
- Zenodo. The “News” section asks Zenodo (a scientific repository run by CERN) for the latest software we have published. Your browser makes that request, so Zenodo receives your IP address as with any visit to its site.
- Browser storage. To let you know when there is a new version of the site, the version number is kept in your browser's temporary storage (sessionStorage). It contains no personal data and is deleted when you close the tab.
Links to other sites
Links to Instagram, GitHub, Zenodo, Ko-fi, ORCID, journals and news outlets lead to sites with their own privacy policies. If you email us, we will only use your message to reply.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to, correction of or deletion of any of your data we hold (for example, an email you sent us), under Chilean personal data protection law. Write to the address above.
